Block of the Month 1 – 014

The source of these beautiful star shaped quilt blocks is Cool Cottons! It’s their block of the month quilt. One of the quilting classes they teach at their dangerously well stocked store. It was pieced at one of our quilting bees, backed with donated yardage and finally quilted expertly on a long arm machine by Nancy Stovall of Just Quilting.

If you are interested in purchasing this quilts posted so far. Please go to our Mercy Corps Japan fundraising site and donate $100 due to the smaller dimensions (shipping is on us). Through the site you can donate to ANY cause you’d like the money to go to. Just state your preferred cause in the subject line. Mercy Corps will distribute the funds according to your specifications on their back end. Then send an email to quiltsforquakesurvivors@gmail.com with the donation confirmation number and the number of the quilt – in this case 014 – and your shipping address. We will send you a confirmation email and ship the quilt within 48 hours via USPS.
